The average sales price for Brevard single-family homes is up + 20.9% to $ 314,250 year over year ($ 260,000). "Inventories remain low and buyer demand is still strong here on Florida's Space Coast," said Jennifer McCoy of McCoy Freeman Real Estate, who looks after the entire Florida Space Coast. "If inventory levels and mortgage rates rise, home price growth could slow," says McCoy. In Brevard, monthly inventory is down -57.1% to 0.9 months, down from 2.1 months in June 2020. According to Freddie Mac, the interest rate on a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 2.98% in June 2021, down from 3.16% in the same month last year.
