In June, the Children First Center hosted its first annual children's golf excursion at Bridgewater Golf Course. We had a fantastic turnout at the event with multiple teams battling it out for victory !!

On June 26th, the Godfathers Motorcycle Club held its first annual Geared Up For Kids at the DeKalb Outdoor Theater. The event was free to attend and brought your families to enjoy the numerous inflatables, games, hot dogs, and cotton candy. The godparents had a large number of bikes for the fun and live auction and raffle with an abundance of great donated items.

Several bands were on stage all day entertaining the guests and the band Rekt let the evening fade away. Our association would like to thank all sponsor members who have put their heart and soul into making this event so special and so successful! The group presented a check for $ 10,257 to the Children First Center last week!

The Children First Center provides a broad base of intervention, prevention and conservation services for children at risk and their families in Counties Allen, DeKalb, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben and Whitley. Many of these services are provided in the family household, led by qualified professionals. The work, led by the Children First professional, aims to prevent incidents of child abuse and neglect and help empower families in need.

Our fundraising drives are vital to our organization in order to continue providing programs and services to these families, and we could not do this without your support. Thank you! The Children First Center will host Golf For The Kids for the second time annually in 2022.
