Another busy week at Lost Art Press! Chris is in Tampa right now at the Florida School of Woodworking, starting a five-day chair class today, after a weekend stool class. Kale is wrapping up the first edit on a the Chris Williams video, Katherine is building the last of our "smalls" – look for more on that book project soon! – and I am still hard at work on Peter Follansbee's Essex County Cupboard book.

p.s. I'll be teaching in Tampa in March, and there are still a couple spaces available if you'd like to come build a Dutch Tool Chest & Sawbench or a dovetailed Shaker Tray with me.

Meet the Author: Dr. Mike Epworth
I can't do justice to Kara Gebhart Uhl's profile on Dr. Mike Epworth, so here are a couple of paragraph to whet your appetite:
"Story, memory and community are embedded into every Jimmy Possum chair Mike makes. And each one can only be built by following the wild line, "the natural path of timber splitting, the intuitive movement of a drawknife, the instinctive curve of a component shaped to follow the body," Mike writes.
"The wild line is the chair's story. Here's Mike's wild line, his story."
New LAP Stuff & a Bench Kit
We've just released a new LAP mug design featuring the Lost Art Press logo on a deep red 14 ou. mug. Also, Christopher Schwarz's trilogy of "The Anarchist's Tool Chest," "The Anarchist's Design Book" and "The Anarchist's Workbench" is now available at a special price. Plus, Alexander Brothers now has Roman Workbench kits available (and you can download the book with the plans for it free at our online store).
