As a continuation for your yesterday's post "Museum to Visit" where you have a new experience with LACMA. Welcome back and thanks for being here with all of us from the US, Italy, Malaysia, India, Nigeria, South Africa, Belgium, China, Bangladesh, Cameroon, Australia, Philippines, Canada, Germany, Russia, the UK, Argentina, the UAE, Netherlands, Brazil, Philippines, Bulgaria, Uruguay, Pakistan, Finland, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Thailand, Bolivia, Mexico, Indonesia, Trinidad & Tobago, Vietnam, Kenya, Serbia, Croatia, Paraguay, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Hong Kong, Ireland, Indonesia, Norway, Kazakhstan, Finland, Turkey, Hungary, Latvia, Puerto Rico, Sweden, Romania, Singapore, Panama, Denmark, Georgia, France, Taiwan, Estonia, Pakistan, Japan, Ecuador, Spain, Greece, Austria, Uzbekistan, Bahrain, Chile, Thailand, Cyprus, Qatar, Tanzania, Ukraine, Colombia, South Korea, New Zealand, Iraq, Costa Rica, Mauritius, American Samoa, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Congo- Kinshasa, El Salvador, Réunion, Nepal, Belarus, and all! There are plenty of new expressions of art that you are not familiar with specially when the artists are from Asia or other countries where different cultures express its own art. For example, when a piece of art is a big comb, higher than a human being what does that say? Another example was a complicated mechanism of trains/transport or when the heads of a few animals are cut and stand on wooden trunks/poles. That is why you would feel like these artists are "lunatic" or at least unstable. When you see an eye is magnified and put inside the wall framed while it moves in a strange way making you uncomfortable looking at it. It is hard to describe the feeling that comes to you whether it is fear or refusal to using a beautiful part of the human body in a "ugly" expression of art. The last thing you would remember about that museum is its unbelievable elevator which capacity hard to see anywhere else and its height could allow four people to stand on top of each other What's your take from this visit then? It shows you that some people were courageous enough to put their crazy ideas on paper (or in another shape of art) making a name for themselves out of showing these lunatic art ideas to others. Until we chat again, take your time and get your own inspiration with our hugs and kisses
