There’s quite the flurry of new book news this week! We just heard from Matt Bickford, who is done writing all but the conclusion of his book on making wooden hollows and rounds, rabbet planes and dedicated moulders – now it’s down to photography. And, I just finished scanning in a selection of Chris Beckvoort’s sketches from working with customers through the years. They are for his “Sketches & Shop Notes” (working title). So look for those later this year or early next. (As well as Elia Bizzarri’s “Built for Speed,” on which I’m hard at work, and our Smalls book, for which the writing is scheduled to be done by the end of this month. We’re taking opening pictures now!)
